What do you mean, she's too heavy to carry up the stairs and you can't afford to install an elevator?

Never mind that providing access via being physically carried is NEVER EVER EVER an appropriate ongoing solution for any person beyond the age at which one is normally self-ambulatory. I lost count of how many times my friend who worked the ADA complaint hotline had to explain that one.
